Builderthread
Builderthread turns an app idea, or the URL of a product you want to beat, into a ready-to-build private GitHub repository. Your AI coding tool (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or another supported editor) then builds the product task by task while Builderthread tracks your progress.
How it works in four steps
- Describe it or paste a URL. Type your idea or paste a competitor URL. Builderthread visits live product pages and searches Google to write a cited market brief in about three minutes.
- Prepare your build. Approve the brief, connect GitHub, and click Prepare my build. Builderthread selects the right stack for your product (web, mobile, desktop, Chrome extension, or backend) and creates your private GitHub repo with working starter code, living PRDs written for that code, skills, and agent instructions. This runs in the background for about 30 minutes, and you get an email when it is ready.
- Start building. Copy the start prompt into your AI coding tool. It clones the repo and works through the tasks one by one, asking you before installing anything or creating accounts.
- Watch it ship. Tasks move across your build board as the agent finishes them, and your Momentum page tracks commits, milestones, and achievements.
